The top is made out of a child's sock. It is a bit raw around the cut edges but I'm ok with this, there's only me 'playing' with my dolls. The pants look just how I wanted them from the front. The back is rather baggy because this doll has quite wide hips and very narrow waist. So there is quite a bit of overlap where I've added the Velcro closure. But, as I say, it's my doll so that's ok.
This doll is a Best Friends Club doll. It was on special offer from one of those bargain shops, wish I'd bought another one now but they are sold out. I think it was something like £14.99.
Oh my goodness! 3 posts in 3 days. This feels like Christmas. I just left a post on the dark haired doll with the new orange skirt set and refreshed your site and saw this new post. This little lady's pantsuit is so cute too. I am going to have to try some sock clothes myself. Her shirt worked out well and I love capris. I think they are so feminine. Thanks again for posting =)
ReplyDeleteShe looks so cute Ann...love the top and capris! How fun to make clothes for dolls and then get to dress them :)
ReplyDeleteYou have really outdone yourself Ann. I'm afraid I'm all talk and no action and my girls are suffering because of it. I love those pants. They're especially nice for articulated dolls because they hide their knee joints.
ReplyDeleteShe is an exceptionally pretty doll and I want one too! The outfit you have made her suits her very well. I am looking forward to seeing more outfits that you make.
