A Winter Coat

Here's a winter coat I made for Bridgette...
It's made from fleece and faux fur.  I've never sewn fleece before, it is lovely to sew and the automatic buttonhole my sewing machine does even worked properly on it.  The pattern was from an American Girl pattern 'Addy's Pretty Clothes'.  I followed the tutorial on how to sew it together from here .  I love the coats she shows in the tutorials.  Next I want to make boots to go with the coat, the boots in this picture are some from another doll and don't fit properly.

    1. Thanks Bailey, it was a really nice project to make, no lining to put in because the fleece doesn't fray.

  2. Fleece is a miracle fabric, isn't it? My beloved Singer Touch & Sew doesn't like it very much, unfortunately, so I have to get out my modern Janome when I want to sew on it.

    The coat is lovely.
