Sewing Curves

Sewing curves on doll clothes can be quite fiddly.  This is the way I do it.  First I machine sew around the curves; clip almost to this line of machine sewing; finger press the hem at the line of machine sewing;  tack/baste this hem.

Machine sew around the hem once it is all neatly tacked/basted in place.  You can add any trim at this point.  The pictures above are the top of an apron, I'm all ready now for the sewing machining.

  1. Thank you for the advice, Ann! I keep saying I am going to sew this or that for my doll... but I really don't know how to make it look just right : ). If I try and get stuck, will you help me?
